Super Junior Heechul has come under fire for his recent remarks.

On March 17, Super Junior Heechul met up with WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon and Kim Jin Woo for this week’s episode of Studio HOOK YouTube series ‘Street Alcohol Fighter.’

During the episode, Heechul and the two members played games and such. One behind-the-scenes video released by the YouTube channel caused backlash. In the video, Heechul asked the two members to do the trending ‘Cocaine Dance’, a popular dance challenge on the internet.

As they began dancing Heechul walked in and said, ‘are you guys going on PandaTV now?’ The caption also played on his ‘joke’ and added, ‘a user has just sent a star balloon.’

To understand why fans found it problematic, one has to understand what he meant by the PandaTV reference.

PandaTV is an online streaming platform popular in South Korea, its mainly known for hosting 19+ content and some of the girls on there are labelled ‘cam girls.’ Many fans believe Heechul comment was disrespectful towards the WINNER members.
The behind-the-scenes clip has since been removed by the YouTube channel. Fans are demanding an apology from Heechul for his crude remarks.
