Fans have noticed that Sunmi’s new song “Heroine” sounded a lot similar to a song by singer Cheryl Cole, after fans looked into Cheryl Cole’s “Fight For This Love,” some were convinced that “Heroine” was plagiarized.
Sunmi released her new highly anticipated song “Heroine” on January 18, it was believed to be the next hit song after her previous 2017 hit “Gashina.” “Heroine” was written and produced by producer Teddy, the YG produced had also worked on her previous song “Gashina.”
After taking a listen, some fans defended both Teddy and Sunmi while others insisted that the songs sounded too much alike to be a coincidence.
