Former SISTAR Member Soyou has left Starship Entertainment!
On September 8, it was reported that Soyou left Starship Entertainment, this was followed by a statement from Starship, they confirmed the news, they stated,
“Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.
First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the fans for their generous love and support for Soyou.
We have had in-depth discussions with Soyou for a long time, but after final consultations, Soyou decided not to renew the contract. Therefore, we would like to inform you that our exclusive contract with Soyou has been terminated.
Soyou has shined the entertainment industry as the best artist for the past 11 years with us. We would like to express our deep gratitude to Soyou for spending her time with us as a member of SISTAR and as a solo artist since she was a trainee.
We respect her decision and even though the contract has ended, we sincerely hope that the new start of her new journey will always be happy.”
It is unknown what agency Soyou will join yet.
