BREAKING: SM Removes Taeil From NCT Following His Involvement In A Criminal Case Tied To A Sexual Crime
SM has issued a shocking statement to its SNS announcing that Taeil is no longer part of the NCT teams moving forward!
On August 28, SM issued a statement to its Twitter account to announce that Taeil has been implicated in a “criminal case related to sexual crimes.”
SM says they looked into the situation and realized the severity of the matter thus, after discussing with Taeil, he’s been removed from NCT and will no longer carry out group activities.
SM added that Taeil is currently faithfully participating in police investigations.

“This is SM Entertainment.
We have recently confirmed that Taeil has been sued in connection with a criminal case involving a sex crime.
In the process of verifying the facts related to this, we recognized the seriousness of the situation and decided that he could no longer continue team activities. After discussing with Taeil, we have decided on his departure from the team.
Taeil is currently cooperating faithfully with the police investigation, and we will provide additional updates as the investigation progresses.
We deeply apologize for the trouble caused by our artist.”
SM does not specify exactly what type of sexual crimes the idol is involved in and fans are currently shocked at the announcement.
