SM Entertainment Unveils Three New SM Rookies Trainees, Is A Potential New Boy Group Happening Soon?

SM Entertainment has surprised fans by unveiling three new top trainees.

On July 2nd at midnight KST, SM Entertainment posted photos of their newest trainees to SM Rookies twitter account. This account has notably not been active since 2019.

The three new SM rookies are Eunseok, Seunghan, and Shohei. Check out their photos below!

SM Rookies is known for being the agency’s pre-debut team that consists of their best trainees. The last time it was active was in 2019 when it had introduced NCT members Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang who are now part of NCT.

This got fans wondering about what type of plans SM has for those rookies. Some believe the news of a possible upcoming boy group from SM Entertainment might come soon while others believe those three rookies might be added to the lineup of NCT.
