The official community of sm entertainment artists will be opened on the global fandom platform weverse.
kakao-kakao entertainment and sm entertainment announced on april 17th, “we will open an official community for sm artists on hybe’s global fandom platform weverse.” until the second half of this year, sm will open official communities for each artist on weverse sequentially and communicate with the global fandom through various services such as fan communication and media content provision.
in addition, it will also enter the commerce platform weverse shop, where albums and official products can be purchased, and the global official fan club will also be operated through weverse’s membership service. it will support a convenient fandom life for both artists and fandoms, such as various communication through the official community and a convenient purchasing environment through the commerce platform weverse shop.
in addition to the existing 1:1 private messenger fandom platform bubble, sm plans to further strengthen communication with fans around the world through the opening of the weverse official community.
bubble allows artists and fans to communicate closely as if exchanging personal messages. through weverse, it is expected that artists and fans will be able to communicate and interact more widely with fans around the world, including community services, media content for fans, and commerce services that sell artists’ official products.
sm’s official entry into weverse is part of the business cooperation discussed between kakao, kakao entertainment, sm, and hybe in march.
