Popular 12-Year-Old Korean Singer Facing Sexually Harassing Comments Online, Fans Furious + Agency Plans To Sue

Popular 12-Year-Old Singer Seo Eve is facing sexually harassing comments online prompting fans to call agency to prosecute the perpetrators.

The lead of the newest TikTok hit Malatanghulu, Seo Eve’s side has taken legal action against malicious comments.

Seouilve, a kids creator with 800,000 SNS followers, released a song called ‘Maratanghuru’ in April which has since gone viral in Korea.

With repetitive lyrics, melodies, and cute dance moves, it gained attention as the challenge’s views exceeded 10 million. They recently announced that they have sued a malicious commenter for their horrible comments.

The agency stated that “the indiscriminate malicious posts against underage Seo Eve are at a very serious level” and promised a strong response. It is being reported that the platforms being monitored include Nate, Theqoo, DC Inside¸Instiz, Ilbe Storehouse, Naver and more.

The agency specifically filed a formal complaint on June 21 for violations of the Act on Protection of Children and Youth from Sexual Offenses and defamation.

Fans are happy to hear of this as they’ve been seeing some of the horrible comments the singer has been receiving.

Born in 2012, Seo Eve is currently a 6th grader in elementary school and gained attention when it was revealed that she is the daughter of broadcaster Lee Pa Ni and musical actor Seo Seong-min.
