Singer Roy Kim is reportedly leaving his agency CJ ENM after working together for 10 years.

Xports News reported on February 10th that Roy Kim is expected to not renew the exclusive contract with Wake One, an entertainment agency under CJ ENM after it expires soon.

In this regard, a Wake One official did not say anything to Xports News, saying, “We are discussing ahead of the final renewal of the contract.”

After winning season 4 of Mnet’s ‘Superstar K’ in 2012, Roy Kim signed a contract with CJ ENM and has been with them for over 10 years. He released hit songs such as ‘Bom Bom Bom’, ‘LOVE LOVE LOVE’, ‘HOME’, ‘Let’s break up then’, ‘Let’s stop’, and ‘It’ll be okay’ for a long time as a representative artist of CJ ENM’s music label.

In December of last year, Roy Kim released his fourth mini-album ‘And’ after his discharge from the military which showed his maturity and musical growth during his hiatus. Above all, his sincerity and will for his music have evoked great sympathy from his listeners.

Roy Kim has proven his capabilities as a singer-songwriter, such as writing lyrics, composing, and producing. Attention is focused on what kind of move he will show after leaving the agency he has been in for a long time.
