Singer Roy Kim (25) is now a suspect!
On April 4 during a briefing by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency they revealed that the singer has been booked on the charges of violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. by spreading illegally taken footage.
The police told news outlets that he has been notified and informed that he must return to South Korea immediately to be investigated.
On the question of whether he filmed the spread footage or not, the police say it’s not been confirmed.
On the other hand, police say Kangin, Jinwoon and Model Lee Chul Woo are all references in the investigation; the police isn’t planning to investigate them.
It had been previously reported that Roy Kim will be questioned as a witness. His agency had released an official statement on April 2nd informing the public that the singer is studying abroad and will rearrange his schedule to return to South Korea ASAP.
