A new boy group produced by singer and producer Zico will debut in the first half of the year.

An official from KOZ Entertainment, Zico’s agency, told Maeil Economic Star Today on February 28th regarding the rookie debut, “We are preparing for the first half of this year. The exact debut date will be revealed after it is confirmed.”

Zico expressed his confidence in the rookie group at the ‘2022 HYBE Company Briefing with the Community’ last November. At the time, he said, “It’s difficult to tell you the exact concept,” but asked for expectations, saying, “We will bring a group that can be enjoyed without hesitation in the public and fandom.”

Zico debuted as a member of the group Block B in 2014 and served as the main producer within the team. After leaving Block B, he has been working as a solo singer and producer. His songs, ‘Any Song’ released in 2021, and ‘New’ released in 2022 were mega hits.
