The first lineup of the 2022 Genie Music Awards (2022 GMA) has been unveiled.
Genie Music said, “The popular girl groups such as Red Velvet, IVE, and (G)I-DLE have been listed in the first lineup of the 2022 Genie Music Awards.”
Red Velvet, who showed off their robustness with their mini-album released in March this year, will attend the 2022 Genie Music Awards. Red Velvet, which gained the nickname of “Concept Queen” by presenting various concepts through numerous hit songs, has explored various genres ranging from dance to R&B and ballad.
Beginning their career with their debut single “Eleven,” released in December 2021, with songs such as “Love Dive” and “After Like” IVE, who has become a “Popular rookie” by setting a record of 35 wins in music broadcasting shows, joined the lineup of the 2022 Genie Music Awards.
(G)I-DLE, who returned with their fifth mini-album “I love,” will also join the lineup of the 2022 Genie Music Awards. (G)I-DLE, who conquered domestic and foreign charts with the title song “TOMBOY” of their first full-length album “I NEVER DIE” released in March this year, recently completed a world tour in Seoul, LA, Seattle, New York, Santiago, Bangkok, and Singapore.
Fans are paying keen attention to what kind of performance Red Velvet, IVE, and (G)I-DLE will present at the 2022 Genie Music Awards, which are captivating global fans with their solid live skills and colorful performances.
The 2022 Genie Music Awards will be held at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium on November 8.
