BIGBANG Gdragon first activity following his military discharge has people waiting in line.
Previously, Nike announced their collaboration with Gdragon, they launched their Air Force 1 Para-Noise collaboration sneakers earlier this month in Korea. The unique sneakers came in two colors, black and red, and they were priced at 219,000 won (approximately $187), which is pretty reasonable for such a huge collaboration.
The trick was that only 818 pairs were made available making their value skyrocket way beyond their original retail price. The pairs were sold to winners of a raffle called the “Shock Draw.” On the day of its release, massive crowds stood in a long line in front of the Nike store to enter for the draw.
The price of the shoes on other sites reached up to thousands of dollars, the limited edition version was resold for almost $8600.
This proves that Gdragon still has that golden touch; fans are super excited about his return and more excited for his first post-military collaboration project with Nike.
