Nam Tae Hyun And Girlfriend Seo Min Jae could be getting arrested by police for alleged drug use.
Nam Tae Hyun and Seo Min Jae were previously booked on suspicions of using illegal drugs in August of 2022 after Seo Min Jae took to her Instagram to post a selfie with Nam Tae Hyun and numerous other posts accusing him of using methamphetamine and hitting her. She wrote, “Nam Tae Hyun does philopon (the brand name for methamphetamine in East Asian countries). His syringe is either in my room or in my office cabinet. He also hit me.”
On May 17, The Seoul Yongsan Police Station announced that they have requested an arrest warrant for Nam Tae Hyun And Girlfriend Seo Min Jae. The police have been investigating both individuals, and it has been revealed through a forensic examination by the National Forensic Service that traces of narcotics were detected. Its been speculated the reason behind requesting the arrest warrant is the police is reportedly afraid of evidence destruction.
Later, through MBN, the news outlet claimed that methamphetamine traces were detected in their hair. The Seoul Western District Court is scheduled to conduct a preliminary hearing for the suspects tomorrow morning (18th) prior to their arrest.
Back then, in an effort to do damage control, Seo Min Jae took to Instagram later to take back the allegations she made against him. She said they are dating and they had a quarrel and what she said was a result of taking too much psychiatric medications. Nam Tae Hyun also addressed the situation and said they were dating and had a quarrel but he did not comment on the allegations of drug use.
