PLEDIS Finally Unveils 1st Teaser Of 1st Boy Group Since SEVENTEEN, Set To Debut In 2024
SEVENTEEN’s brother group will finally debut in January next year.
PLEDIS Entertainment announced the debut of the rookie boy group, TWS (Tours), which is the first in nine years for PLEDIS.
On the 21st, PLEDIS opened TWS’s official SNS accounts and released the team’s logo motion, revealing their debut in January next year. The logo motion, implemented in graphics, sequentially displays the phrases ’24/7 WITH US’ and ‘TWS’, conveying the meaning of the team name.
Like the logo motion depicts, TWS is an abbreviation for ‘TWENTY FOUR SEVEN WITH US’. 24/7 is an English expression meaning ‘all the time’, referring to 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It carries the meaning of ‘always with TWS’. Following SEVENTEEN, TWS adopts PLEDIS’ unique naming strategy utilizing numbers. TWS will spread a bright energy that makes you want to be with them at all times. The music will also be filled with pleasant and refreshing melodies.
TWS’s debut plans for the first quarter of next year were announced at the HYBE Conference Call in November. Detailed information such as the number of members and exact debut date is still under wraps but its been reported the group will debut in the 1st quarter of 2024.
TWS is attracting the attention of K-pop fans and the public as a new boy group launched by PLEDIS after nine years.
