PENTAGON’s Hui will appear on “Boys Planet,” a male version of the audition reality show “Girls Planet 999.”

According to the K-pop industry on December 19, PENTAGON Hui is filming Mnet’s audition program “Boys Planet.”

“Boys Planet” is a K-pop boy group-organizing project created and debuted by global fandom, and is a male version of “Girls Planet 999,” which debuted Kepler last year.

Hui, an idol for seven years, draws attention by challenging himself as an audition participant with “Boys Planet.”

In particular, attention is being paid to why Hui, called the “hit song maker” through auditions, created various hit songs such as “Never,” Wanna One’s “Energetic,” and PENTAGON’s “Shine,” as well as outstanding singing and performance skills.

Cube Entertainment declined to comment on Hui’s appearance on “Boys Planet,” saying, “We can’t confirm it.”

“Boys Planet” is scheduled to premiere in February next year.
