On April 16, prosecution revealed that the case against NU’EST’s Baekho has been dismissed; he has also been acquitted of all charges ending the long legal battle of 8 months.

Pledis Entertainment also released a statement confirming the prosecution findings and adding,

“NU’EST’s Baekho has been cleared of all charges. This is proof that he was innocent as we reported at first, it never happened.”

The ordeal had begun back in June 2017, when someone claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Baekho back in 2009 in middle School.

She filed charges and his case was handed into prosecution back in September. At the time, Pledis Entertainment released a statement denying the allegations and said that it was unfounded and false.

The agency also also revealed they would be takinglegal actions against the false claims on the ground of violation of laws regarding the promotion of information and communication network use and protection of information.
