Kpop Idol Given Slap On The Wrist For Breaking Into Ex-Girlfriend’s House, Threatening Her With A Weapon And Strangling Her, His Identity Gets Revealed

This kpop idol has recently made headlines for his horrible actions and his name has been finally revealed.

Recently, Korean news outlets began to report about an idol named A who has been sentenced to probation for threatening his ex-girlfriend with a weapon.

The kpop idol was a contestant on the hit show Produce 101 season two, and at some time in October of 2021, he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house when she refused to meet him. He broke in through the balcony, wrapped his arms around her neck and dragged her into the living room. He then grabbed a small knife and threatened her with it, he asked for her to continuing seeing him. He allegedly choked her when she refused and a neighbor happened to hear this and called the police. When someone knocked on the door, he reportedly pointed a knife at her throat asking her not to scream.

The Seoul Central District Court gave the idol a slap on the wrist for his crime concluding that he’s a first time offender, he was given a suspended sentence. The judge concluded his actions were committed impulsively.

He was charged with inflicting bodily harm, and threatening with the use of a weapon and has been sentenced to 1 year in prison if he commits the same crime within a probationary period of 2 years.

He was also placed under protective supervision for 1 year, and must complete 80 hours of community service.

Later, a report by New Daily revealed the idol in question is NOIR’s Nam Yoon Seong. The idol who was born in 1996, debuted as a member of his group in 2018. He’s currently working as an actor and is known for his visuals and dance skills.

The idol or his agency are yet to make a comment on the matter.
