NewJeans To Sing The Theme Song For The 2023 League Of Legends World Championship
The group NewJeans will sing the theme song for the ‘2023 LoL World Championship’.
According to their agency, ADOR, on the 27th of September, NewJeans’ song ‘Gods’, which they sang for the ‘2023 LoL World Championship’ will be released through various music platforms on October 4th at 2 p.m.
The ‘LoL World Championship’ is the global competition of the popular game League of Legends by Riot Games. In the past, Imagine Dragons, Lil Nas X, and (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon and Soyeon have sung the theme songs. This year’s championship will be held in Seoul and Busan in October and November. It has been 5 years since the championship was held in Korea.
NewJeans stated, “It was enjoyable to be able to try new genres and sounds, and we are happy to present a song that captures the unique colors of NewJeans and LoL through this collaboration. Working with Riot Games was a refreshing experience.”
