The girl group NewJeans is preparing for a new song.
On May 23rd, one media outlet reported that after NewJeans releases a pre-release song on July 7th, they will unveil a new album.
Their agency ended up responding to the news via a statement, they said, “It is true that NewJeans is preparing for a new song. The specific release date has not been determined yet.”
NewJeans, who debuted in July last year, has emerged as the representative girl group of HYBE. In less than a year since their debut, NewJeans has released several hit songs such as “DITO,” “Hype Boy,” “OMG,” and “Attention,” solidifying their position as a leading force in K-pop. Especially “DITO” has maintained its high rankings on the charts even after four months since its release, proving the group’s popularity.
Furthermore, NewJeans has showcased their global influence by being listed in Forbes’ “Asia’s influential 30 Under 30” list.
