K-netizens are not happy with the way a reporter phrased an article about Choo Sarang, the daughter of Choo Sung Hoon.
The article which was recently published was about Sarang’s mother’s Instagram update, Sarang was wearing a crop top.
The reporter thought it would be a great idea to title the article in an objectifying tone for the 8-year-old, and the content of the article also drew attention because of its tone which many believed was not suitable for an 8-year-old.
One controversial line reads, ‘attracted attention with her slim figure,’ and the title reads ‘Choo Sarang, strikes a model pose while wearing a belly button tee.’ Many netizens believe the language used isn’t fit when talking about an 8-year-old child.
Netizens left many comments such as,
Why would you describe a child like that?
Aren’t you embarrassed? ‘a slim figure’? you should be ashamed
isn’t this too much?
you’re trash..
you can’t possibly call this an article..
and more.
The article hasn’t been edited despite netizens harsh words to the reporter. Many are hoping the title and the content would be edited.
