NCT members Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo’s subunit “Do Jae Jung,” have been confirmed to be preparing for their debut album.

On March 9, SM Entertainment told Sports W, “NCT Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo are preparing their first unit debut album, and we will release it as soon as the schedule is confirmed. Please look forward to it.”

According to Sports Today earlier in the day, NCT’s first unit, Do Jae Jung, is preparing an album with the goal of debuting in the first half of the year. Except for fixed units NCT 127, NCT dream, and WayV, NCT has been engaged in unit activities with variable members under the name of NCT U. This is the first time that a unit album has been released.

Earlier in the recent SM 3.0 announcement, it was announced that the NCT unit was preparing for an album in the first half of this year, drawing a lot of curiosity. Along with the news of the release of the unit album, NCT members Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo informed fans through Bubble that they had recorded as well as released photos from the recording studio, informing them of their subunit “Do Jae Jung.” As a result of confirmation, NCT members Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo will be releasing their first unit album.

The combination of Doyoung, the main vocalist of NCT, Jungwoo, the lead vocalist, and Jaehyun, the all-rounder who has everything including vocalist, dancer, and sub-rapper, has already proven their skills and popularity. In October last year, during NCT 127 concert “NEO CITY: SEOUL – The Link +” held at Jamsil Main Stadium, they received a hot response with the unreleased song “Can We Go Back”. This enthusiasm led to a special stage of “Can We Go Back” at the request of the “2022 MBC Music Festival” at the end of the same year, literally making “Can We Go Back” for fans.

In addition, Do Jae Jung drew attention by covering the carols “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas,” “The Christmas Song” and “Dear Santa” last Christmas.

Expectations are already high on what kind of team and harmony they will showcase to the fans.

Are you excited for this album?
