NCT DREAM Reschedules Highly Anticipated Seoul Concert At An Even Bigger Venue, Joining An Elite Club of Record Holders In The Process
NCT DREAM might have had to cancel its concert, but they’re now set to perform the concert at an even bigger venue.
Last month, NCT DREAM was scheduled to perform at Gocheok Sky Dome from July 29 to 31, the three shows were sold out and a whopping 1.6 million fans logged in at the same time to purchase tickets. Unfortunately, the group had to cancel the concert after two members tested positive for COVID-19. Fans were heartbroken because of it.
On August 10, SM Entertainment officially announced that NCT DREAM’s “THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A Dream” concert had been rescheduled. The concert will now be held on September 8 and 9 at Seoul Olympic Stadium, the largest stadium in South Korea.
With the happy news came a new record for the group. NCT DREAM is now only the 7th idol group to have performed at the massive venue. They join H.O.T., g.o.d, Shinhwa, JYJ, EXO, and BTS/
Tickets for “THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A Dream” will go on pre-sale next week before opening to the general public on August 24 at 8 p.m. KST.
