Mnet’s ‘I-LAND’ Staff Member Tests Positive For COVID-19, What Will Happen To The Series?

Mnet’s ‘I-LAND’ has confirmed that a cleaning staff member of the reality show has tested positive for COVID-19.

The news was first reported by Dispatch on August 15. According to the media outlet, the cleaning staff member was on location on August 12, the staff member tested positive for coronavirus, he was wearing a mask and carrying out his duties.

Mnet’s ‘I-LAND’ confirmed that the report was true, but the show has been doing its best to take preventive measures such as taking temperatures and checking for fevers.

A source from ‘I-LAND’ stated that the set was shut down, and disinfected. The staff and members of the show will test for the coronavirus after they were informed about the positive case.

For now, it is unknown if this case will have an effect on how the show or not.
