A man who impersonated N.Flying‘s Kim Jaehyun has been arrested.

According to the Seoul Seocho Police Station on the 13th of June, a man in his 30s, known as Mr. A, who had impersonated Kim Jaehyun, was captured.

A woman who was victimized by Mr. A reported the incident to the police, leading to his arrest. An official from the Seocho Police Station stated, “Mr. A has been charged with fraud and theft and was recently arrested.”

During the police investigation, several victims who had suffered from Mr. A’s impersonation came forward, including financial damages. Kim Jaehyun, who was impersonated, was also questioned as a witness.

In February, Kim Jaehyun’s agency FNC Entertainment released a statement stating that there have been ongoing cases of people impersonating N.Flying’s member Kim Jaehyun. FNC warned, “We have received reports from fans about individuals falsely claiming to be Kim Jaehyun and approaching others inappropriately, which damages his reputation. We ask everyone to be cautious to prevent any potential harm.”

Since then, there has been concern among both Kim Jaehyun and his fans about the impersonator.
