LOONA members Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and choerry will be coming back to the industry soon!
on the 1st, modhouse opened the official sns account of ‘artms’ at 0 o’clock and posted an official image announcing the start of the project, attracting explosive attention.
the image contains a meaningful phrase, “we are going together, towards the moon and beyond,” and a description saying, “a story of girls with amazing strategies and plans to go to the moon. heejin, kim lip, jinsoul, and choerry are starting.” this stimulated fans’ curiosity.
‘artms’ is derived from the greek mythology goddess of the moon, artemis. it is also in line with nasa’s new moon exploration project. in particular, nasa’s project is also an interesting aspect as it attempts to lure four members into manned moon exploration.
they also later added, “artms is not a name of a new group. it’s a story about the amazing strategies and plans of the girls to get to the moon. heejin, kim lip, jinsoul, and choerry, will start this story.”
previously, on march 17th, the agency announced, “on march 17, 2023, we signed exclusive contracts with heejin, kim lip, jinsoul, and choerry.”
meanwhile, 9 loona members filed an application for a provisional injunction to suspend the exclusive contract against the agency blockberry creative in november of last year. in january, the civil division 1 of the seoul northern district court ruled that heejin, kim lip, jinsol, and choerry won the case, and haseul, yeojin, yves, gowon, and olivia hye lost the case.
