LOONA Breaks International Records Becoming The First EVER Kpop Girl Group To Break These iTunes Records

Rising rookies LOONA have achieved something amazing, something no other Kpop girl has ever achieved.

On December 13, LOONA released the lead single “365” for their upcoming album. Fans have been waiting for the girls’ comeback for a very long time, despite having no promotions for the song planned, the song managed to reach No. 1 iTunes’s Top Songs chart in the United States within hours!

The only other Kpop girl group to have done this is BLACKPINK, who did so with “Kill This Love.” This is added to what LOONA achieved in October, fans helped their album “X X” to the top of the iTunes Top Albums chart in the United States, the only other Kpop girl groups to have done so are Red Velvet and TWICE.

The combination of both records meant that they’ve become the first-ever Kpop girl group to land on No.1 on both the Top Songs and Top Albums charts in the United States, they’re also the second Korean act to have done so following BTS and the second-ever girl group following Destiny’s Child.

LOONA “365” is also number one on the Top Songs chart on iTunes in many other regions as well.

Congratulations on an amazing achievement LOONA!
