CL is coming back soon, very very soon!

It was previously reported that CL was supposed to drop a song on November 26 which marked the 3rd anniversary of 2NE1’s disbandment. However, CL delayed the music release due to the shocking news of Goo Hara’s passing.

On November 29, CL dropped details about her first Korean comeback in a long time. She uploaded a video to her recently opened YouTube channel, the video titled “In The Name Of Love” is the name of her project album, it will contain six new tracks which will be shared over the course of the upcoming three weeks starting from December 4. The first single will be dropped on December 4 via her YouTube channel. Each week two singles will be shared.

It was also revealed that different versions of the album art and merchandise will also be released.

This marks her first activity since leaving YG Entertainment, it only took CL a couple of weeks to announce new music which further cements what fans have been thinking of that YG was restricting her freedom to release music under their label.

Fans are already super excited about the upcoming release, they’re happy she’s releasing six tracks back to back. CL remains a free-agent for the time being.

Are you excited about her upcoming release?

  1. YG moneymaker is always been Bigbang in the 1st spot. And iKON in the 2nd spot (except in 2018, iKON is number 1 when Bigbang is in hiatus). I don’t hate blackpink, I just don’t know where the ideas of “blackpink is YG moneymaker” coming from. Yes, blackpink is famous globally but that doesn’t mean they earn lots of money…
