Legendary Kpop Idols To Celebrate 20th Anniversary With Special Joint Concert
Legendary kpop idols Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu (XIA) are set to reunite with fans in a joint concert this November.
On the 6th of September, their respective teams announced that the duo will hold the JX 2024 CONCERT in Seoul in celebration of their 20th debut anniversary.
The concert will take place over three days, from November 8 to 10, at the KSPO DOME (formerly the Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul’s Songpa district.
At midnight on the same day, Jaejoong and Junsu opened an official JX social media channel, releasing teaser images and silhouette posters that hinted at the upcoming concert, raising fans’ anticipation. The concert promises to be more than just a performance; it will serve as a nostalgic journey through their shared memories over the past 20 years. Fans are eager to see how the two will harmonize on stage, having worked both together and apart throughout their careers.
The artists’ agency has also hinted at new musical challenges and future endeavors, which has sparked hope among fans for a potential album release. In an interview with Herald POP in June, Jaejoong had mentioned the possibility of working with Junsu again, saying, “As we both celebrate our 20th anniversary, it would be meaningful to create something together.”
