Singer Lee Sun Hee, who has been engulfed in allegations of embezzlement, has been summoned for investigation.
On the 25th, Lee Sun Hee appeared at the Serious Crimes Investigation Division of the National Police Agency to provide an explanation regarding the embezzlement suspicions related to company funds.
Lee Sun Hee’s agency, Hook Entertainment, stated, “The police investigation was conducted regarding the company where Lee Sun Hee served as the representative director. She will actively clarify the relevant facts and cooperate with the investigation.”
Win Entertainment is a private company established by Lee Sun Hee in 2013. She served as the representative director until June of last year. It was reported that the police initiated an investigation after receiving intelligence that Lee Sun Hee is suspected of embezzling funds from this company.
Lee Sun Hee’s side appealed, “We kindly request that no actions be taken to defame the artist’s reputation based on unverified information.”
