Singer Lee Jin Hyuk and UP10TION members Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bitto, Sunyul, and Gyujin are leaving the agency.
According to the agency TOP Media on February 28th, the exclusive contracts between Lee Jin Hyuk and UP10TION’s Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bitto, Sunyoul, and Gyujin with TOP Media will end on March 11.
On Lee Jin Hyuk’s termination of the contract with TOP Media, TOP Media said, “We discussed it carefully over a long period of time and mutually agreed to terminate the contract upon the expiration of the exclusive contract. We sincerely thank Lee Jin Hyuk, who has always been diligent and radiant.”
Next, about UP10TION’s Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bitto, Sunyoul, and Gyujin, “The exclusive contracts with the members who have been with us since their debut in September 2015 will be terminated. After careful discussion for a long time, the contracts will be terminated under mutual agreement. However, due to all the members’ deep affection for UP10TION, the group UP10TION will keep the current 7 members, and if they continue to promote UP10TION in the future, we have agreed to support UP10TION’s activities.”
Lee Jin Hyuk and UP10TION’s Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bitto, Sunyoul, and Gyujin sent greetings to their fans with a handwritten letter about the expiration of their contracts with their agencies.
