Actors Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung of “Alchemy Of Souls 2” have shared their thoughts about their expectations with each other before starting filming together, their favorite scenes, and more in an interview with Elle magazine.
On December 19, the magazine Elle released a pictorial with Lee Jae Wook (who plays Jang Uk) and Go Yoon Jung (who plays Jin Bu Yeon/ Mudeok), the two main characters of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Alchemy Of Souls 2.”
Throughout the photoshoot, which modernized the sad and lovely mood of the two people in the drama, Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung showed high performance and attracted everyone.
After the photo shoot, a subsequent interview was conducted. When the two were asked if they had any expectations from each other before filming since it was their first time working together, Go Yoon Jung praised her co-star, saying,
I already knew that Jae Wook is a good actor, but the performance Jae Wook showed on filming site exceeded my expectations. At first, I was surprised by his mature look, but later, I was taken aback again by his cute and charming side.”
Lee Jae Wook shared,
It was not easy for me to act character Jang Uk in the setting of 3 years later for the new season, but Go Yoon Jung must have had a more difficult time than me. Despite that, Yoon Jung contacted me first to try to match the script. I was impressed by her passion.”
As it is a unique genre mixed with martial arts, fantasy, and romance, Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung showed great compatibility by choosing the action scenes as the most difficult and satisfying scenes.
Go Yoon Jung said,
“There are so many scenes where the two of us are together, and the situation is similar for both of us, so we started depending a lot on each other. I also wondered if I was doing well when I was filming a scene with other casts’
Lee Jae Wook said,
“The bond really builds up. Sometimes I’m jealous. I hope the scene I filmed with her will be the prettiest and saddest in the drama.”
