LE SSERAFIM has entered the Billboard main album chart “Billboard 200” for the first time. They are a fourth-generation leading girl group that is currently sweeping the domestic music charts too.

According to Billboard Twitter on October 31 (local time), LE SSERAFIM‘s second mini-album “ANTIFRAGIL” debuted at 14th place on the Billboard main album chart “Billboard 200” on October 5.

It is LE SSERAFIM’s first entry into “Billboard 200” and the best performance among the 4th generation K-pop girl groups to debut on the chart. In particular, they entered the chart six months after their debut and set a record for entering the chart in the shortest time among K-pop girl groups.

Their title track “ANTIFRAGIL” also did well on the Billboard charts. It ranked 8th in World Digital Song Sales, 42nd in “Billboard Global” (excluding the United States), and 79th in “Billboard Global 200”.

The K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK who has the highest ranking in “Billboard 200,” topped the list with their second full-length album “Born Pink.”. Vespa is currently the highest-ranked group in the “Billboard 200” among the fourth-generation girl groups. They ranked third with their second mini album “Girls.” The group ITZY is following with their fifth mini-album “CHECKMATE,” ranking eighth. In the second half of the year, a huge number of popular fourth-generation K-pop girl groups such as IVE and NewJeans are scheduled to release new albums, so the “Billboard 200” is expected to be dominated by K-pop girl groups for a while.

Congratulations to LE SSERAFIM!
