About her large age gap with actor Park Hae Soo in “Prison Playbook,” Krystal said she felt comfortable around the 13-year-older actor. About their age gap and how they worked their way around it she said,

“It was okay. Hae Soo oppa is a good actor, so I followed his lead and trusted him. He has a lot of aegyo and is playful on set. If I try to remain silent and get into my character he’d come and tease me and say ‘I wanted to bother you.’”

“Prison Playbook” their relationship is about push and pull, despite their breakup, Krystal’s character continues to care for Hae Soo’s character, when she was asked about what she thought of an uncertain relationship she gave a shocking straightforward answer,

“In reality (for me), once we breakup it’s the end, there is no going back. I am not the type who love taking control in the relationship. I also hate playing games, pushing and pulling. If you like it then you like it, if you don’t then you don’t.”
