Popular Dating Show Contestant And Model Booked For Drunk Driving After Colliding With A Pedestrian

Model and “Transit Love 2” cast member Kim Tae Yi was investigated by police on charges of drunk driving.

His agency confirmed on November 11 that Kim Tae Yi admitted to the charges, adding, “He attended the police investigation in person and truthfully described the events of that night.”

The Agency also stated, “We deeply apologize and regret the incident caused by drunk driving.” The incident reportedly occurred in September near Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, Seoul.

Kim Tae Yi, who was waiting for a designated driver in a parked vehicle, was asked by a parking attendant to move his car. While moving, he unintentionally collided with a pedestrian.

According to Chosun Biz, the case was transferred to the prosecution on October 7 for violation of the Road Traffic Act. Kim Tae Yi gained public recognition as a cast member on TVING’s reality show Transit Love 2.
