K-Pop Fan Messaging Platform UNIVERSE To Shut Down In February

After VLIVE, another K-pop fan service platform, UNIVERSE, will be shutting down this coming February.

On January 11, Platform UNIVERSE made an announcement of “Service Shut Down Of UNIVERSE” by stating that the service will be terminating on February 17, 2023.

“Hello, this is ‘For Fans, With Artists’ UNIVERSE.
In accordance with the decision of service provider NCsoft’s business transfer, the service will be terminated as of February 17, 2023.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the members who have loved us and the artists who have been with us. And please confirm the details of service termination from the UNIVERSE app.
Thank you.”

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that UNIVERSE is being acquired by DearU, the company that runs the fan platform bubble.
