JYP Entertainment Issues Apology For TWICE’s Chaeyoung’s Offensive T-Shirt

TWICE’s Chaeyoung’s agency JYP Entertainment has issued an apology addressing the idol’s controversial t-shirt which had a symbol of Nazi.

Previously, Chaeyoung posted to her Instagram photos of herself and in one of the photos, it was clear that the t-shirt she’s wearing had a swastika symbol on it, a Nazi symbol. Since then, she’s issued an apology and promised to be extra careful in the future.

In addition to her apology, JYP has also issued an apology to their site, it reads as follows:

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
Regarding Chaeyoung’s Instagram post,
we sincerely apologize for not correctly recognizing the meaning of the tilted swastika in the t-shirt.
We deeply apologize for not thoroughly reviewing it from the label side, being absolutely responsible for this situation. In this regard, we will pay absolute attention in the future to prevent this situation from reoccurring from our side as well.
Sincerely apologize again.
