“I Once Again Ask For Forgiveness,” Jessi Issues 2nd Apology Due To The Fan’s Assault Incident
Jessi has addressed fans and netizens with a 2nd apology after her 1st in regard to the recent incident that happened.
Jessi has been recently involved in an incident involving one of her entourage assaulting a teenage fan. The singer has been interrogated and released as the investigation is still ongoing. Jessi also issued an apology.
During this period, Jessi’s actions received mixed responses from netizens with some holding her accountable for the other man’s actions and for not standing up to the fan during the fight, and others who defended her from the hate and protested the harsh comments she was getting as she should not be expected to separate a fight between men.
Ever since then, another past incident also made headlines causing some renewed backlash against her. And earlier today, she shared a hate comment asking her to die asking for them to stop.
On October 23, Jessi took to Instagram to issue her 2nd apology addressing the incident. Read it below!
This is Jessi.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere apologies to the victim and their family who have suffered because of this incident.
Although the incident was caused by my actions, from the time it happened until now, my wrong behavior, attitude, and lack of response have hurt not only the victim but many others, leading to feelings of betrayal and anger.
I have regretted it thousands and tens of thousands of times. If only I could go back to that moment. If I had taken a picture with the victim, if I had actively protected them, if I had gone to the police immediately, if I had made a proper apology, the victim wouldn’t be suffering as much as they are now. All of this is my responsibility.
I fully understand that I cannot be forgiven with just words. However, even now, I will work to correct my mistakes and do my best to help the victim heal.
Though it is too late, I once again ask for forgiveness. I was wrong.
