T-ara‘s Jiyeon expressed her gratitude to singer IU who attended her wedding.
On December 12th, Jiyeon posted on her Instagram, “Jidong-ah (IU’s nickname), who was the first to come, and said, “I was emotional to see you dancing with a bright smile”.” She posted, “When I checked your text, I stood there blankly for a while.”
She revealed the message that IU left for her. In the message, IU said, “Your birthstone is a pearl, so I made a tiara with pearls in it! Keep it as a souvenir; later, when you look back after a long time, I thought it would be meaningful to remember how pretty and precious you were when you were young. Always live like a queen! Live well.”
At the same time, Jiyeon said, “I am so grateful that I have a friend who thinks of me this far,” and she thanked her, “I love you for sharing unforgettable memories with me.”
Jiyeon married Hwang Jae Gyun, a professional baseball player, at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul on December 10th. On this day, IU sang a congratulatory song at their wedding. Jiyeon and IU, who are the same age have been best friends since the time of SBS’s “Hero Hero”.
