IU Has Managed To Achieve Something No Other Kpop Group Or Act Was Able To Do In 2019

IU the singer is back with another hit!

2019 has been a difficult year for Kpop groups in general; very few Kpop groups were able to smash the charts like they usually do. This year, all major Korean charts were dominated by indie singers or ballad singers who continued to maintain their rankings despite comebacks by some of the biggest Kpop groups, with the addition of FLO chart, and discontinuation of Naver Music and Mnet in October of this year it became even more difficult to attain.

This year, very few acts have been able to achieve a perfect-all-kill, a perfect-all-kill is when a song is  No. 1 on the daily and realtime charts of Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Soribada, Flo’s realtime chart, and the weekly and realtime charts of Instiz’s iChart

Before November 21, only five songs were able to achieve a perfect-all-kill, IU had previously achieved one with her song “Love Poem,” which was released a couple of weeks ago. With her new comeback and title track “Blueming,” she was able to get another perfect-all-kill making her the only act of 2019 to have been able to achieve this huge milestone.

Other tracks who achieved a perfect-all-kill are BTS’s “Boy with Luv,” BOL4’s “Workaholic,” AKMU’s “How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re The One I Love,” MC Mong’s “Fame.”

Congratulations to IU!
