Fans are happy after SM confirmed the happy news!
On April 21, a news outlet reported that Irene and Seulgi were gearing up to debut as a subunit and were in the final stages of preparation for the debut album.
Later, SM Entertainment commented on the reports confirming that the two are indeed preparing for a unit debut, but the release date hasn’t been finalized yet.
This marks Red Velvet’s first ever sub-unit since their debut in 2014.
