On February 14, an exclusive report by Sports Seoul stated that iKON’s Yunhyeong and MOMOLAND’s Daisy were dating each other.
An industry source revealed that they have met as a junior-senior in the industry then became friends before they started dating. The source revealed they had started dating three to four months ago.
To fuel the rumors, another industry source even revealed their relationship is an open secret among representatives in the industry. According to this source, the couple doesn’t see each other often but they care for each other.
Following the report that took the Kpop scene by storm both idols agencies returned with statements, however, their statements contradict each other.
MLD Entertainment (MOMOLAND’s agency) released a statement to the press, in their statement they revealed,
“Hello, this is MLD Entertainment. This is our official response to the dating rumors surrounding our agency artist Daisy and iKON’s Song Yunhyeong.
After checking with Daisy, we confirmed they have been seeing each other for three months with interest in one another.”
On the other hand, YG Entertainment released an entirely different statement that contradicts what MLD Entertainment released, an agency representative said,
“They have met up a couple of times with good feelings but they are not dating.”
iKON’s Yunhyeong is 24 years old while MOMOLAND’s Daisy is 20 years old. This is the first iKON member to be seriously wrapped up in dating rumors.
The two contradicting statements are confusing fans. One agency says ‘yes’ while the other says ‘no.’ Fans don’t know which is true.
