YG Entertainment has addressed the reports that iKON’s Bobby is leaving their agency.

On November 15, Kpop Herald exclusively reported that the idol has decided to depart the agency after his contract with them ended. The news came as a huge shock to the many fans who waited for YG’s response.

Later, a rep from YG Entertainment denied the rumors and said, ‘there is still time left on his contract.’

However, their response was met with questions about the wording as iKON is known for having debuted in 2015 and per kpop standard contracts, the group’s contracts renewal subject should have already made headlines. YG did not comment on whether they’re in talks for renewals and didn’t mention whether the contracts are set to expire soon.

IKON debuted in 2015 with “MY TYPE,” and have recently returned with their fourth mini album “FLASHBACK.”
