iKON Bobby is the first iKON member to release a solo album, and as many YG stans already know releasing an album in YG is pretty hard and its even harder if it was a solo album.
While promoting his album the idol sat down for an interview to discuss his solo album “Love and Fall” which was released on September 14.
He was asked about his thoughts on promoting in the same time as the mega kpop groups BTS and EXO, to that he said,
“I am honoured. I think its an honour to be able to promote at the same time as them.
It would be nice if I could get good ranking, but in fact I do not feel the burden of it, because releasing a solo album in a huge agency like YG makes me feel happy.”
He was asked about his first solo album; he expressed his thoughts on this and said,
“I am confident, and happy about releasing this solo album, I cannot say that I am 100% sure that the public will like my album but I think I found a mid-point of balance between what is popular and what type of music I like.”
He also added,
“I won’t let you down.”
The idol has released his first solo album back on the 14th of September, the album has 10 songs including the double title tracks “I Love You, and “Runaway”. The album has topped global iTunes charts along with EXO and BTS as well.
