I.O.I will not be reuniting in October after all!
It was previously reported that I.O.I was gearing up for a return with 9 members and they aimed for an October comeback. The girls were originally scheduled to film their comeback music video in August but plans fell through because the girls wanted the quality of their album to be better.
On September 6, it was reported that I.O.I would be pushing back their comeback from October to December; some speculated that the reason for the delay would be so that all the 11 members could participate instead of only 9.
After the reports were revealed, a source from I.O.I’s side told news outlets that the comeback date has been pushed to early December in order to ensure ‘their album is of the highest quality.’ They’re still discussing the exact date so far.
It is still unknown whether Jeon Somi and WJSN’s Yoo Yeonjung would be able to participate but it is said that there is still hope of a full OT11 comeback since the members and the agency continued to keep in touch with the girls and their labels. Their chances of joining the comeback is higher than before but still not confirmed.

I’m happy and proud that they will return with a vengeance and full of happiness and vitality for the fans of I.O.I . Yet, I wish that they can still perform amid all the band issues just like 2NE1.
