Kpop Idol Leader Leaves Her Newly Debuted Group Only A Couple Of Months After Their Debut, Here Is Why
The kpop idol Hyunhee has left her group VVUP!
Recently, VVUP’s agency, Ego Entertainment, announced on their official account a statement titled “VVUP Hyunhee’s Activity Update.”
The agency began by saying, “Thanks to the generous support and encouragement from fans, VVUP was able to successfully complete their ‘Ain’t Nobody’ promotions. We sincerely thank the fans once again.”
They continued, “We are sorry to deliver unfortunate news to the fans.”
The agency explained, “Since the pre-debut in March until now, leader Hyunhee has been running non-stop. However, due to health reasons, she will no longer be able to continue as a member of VVUP.”
Regarding the reason for her departure, they stated, “During her activities, Hyunhee has been striving to recover her health. Although we had careful discussions about continuing her activities, after much deliberation, Hyunhee decided to focus on recovering her health.”
The agency expressed their apologies to the fans who might be shocked by the sudden news and added, “Even though Hyunhee’s activities with VVUP have come to an end, we ask that you continue to send her warm support for her recovery. The three remaining VVUP members and the company will also give her our fullest support and encouragement.”
VVUP had a two-week pre-debut promotion in March and officially debuted in April. The group was composed of members Hyunhee, Kim, Pan, and Suyeon.
Hyunhee, who was the leader, was born in 2005 and was the oldest member of the team. She was known to have trained at YG Entertainment and participated in MBC’s ‘After School Excitement.’
