Singer HyunA takes legal action regarding malicious comments and posts.
On September 4, HyunA’s agency AT AREA revealed an official position about their plans to take strict legal action against malicious comments, saying, “We have been preparing to file a complaint regarding the continuous personal attacks, spreading of false information, and malicious distortions against our artist HyunA, but we have been lenient due to the artist’s request for clemency.”
They continued, “However, after the marriage announcement, we confirmed that the level of defamation has reached an unbearable point, with indiscriminate defamation being carried out,” adding, “In particular, after the release of the wedding photos, the production and dissemination of completely unfounded rumors have worsened, so we have decided to respond strongly.”
AT AREA stated, “From now on, for the minimum protection of personal dignity, we will take strict legal action against any malicious rumors without any warnings, clemency, or settlements,” urging to refrain from making indiscriminate malicious comments and posts.
Recently, HyunA garnered attention by releasing wedding photos with Yong Junhyung, whom she announced her marriage to, on her personal Instagram account.
