Han Seo Hee’s probation will not be cancelled as previously perceived.
Previously, Han Seo Hee’s urine test results for drugs came out positive during a random drug test back in early July; she was placed under detention since she was on probation due to charges of smoking marijuana with T.O.P back in October of 2016. Back then, she was sentenced to 3 years in prison suspended to 4 years of probation, if she commits the same crime, she could face prison sentence.
The probation office applied to the court to cancel her suspended sentence after the initial drug test results. In response to the request, the court conducted a private interrogation on July 29 of Han Seo Hee, during the questioning; she claimed that the drug tests came out negative due to an ‘error.’
Thus, a hair test was requested and the results came out negative.
On August 11, an official from Seongnam branch of the Suwon District Court’s stated that the decision to cancel her suspended sentence was rejected, since the new hair test came out negative, and as a result, there was no reason to cancel her suspended sentence.
She was released from custody and her case was thrown out of court.
