It was recently revealed that Girls Generation Tiffany was cast to play the role of Roxie Hart for the musical “Chicago.” At the time of the reveal, fans were extremely happy for the idol and many were excited to see her on stage again, it marks her first project in 10 years, her last musical was in 2011.
In a new statement by the production company, they revealed that Girls Generation Tiffany was up against high competition rate for the role of the character. The possibility of landing the role was 200:1 and she ended up taking it.
The production company praised Tiffany who didn’t ask for a special treatment to get the role using her idol status but instead thoroughly prepared by herself and auditioned.
Tiffany revealed that it was her dream to become a musical actress and one of the top 3 roles she wanted to do was Roxie Hart from the musical “Chicago.”
