(G)I-DLE has entered the Billboard main album chart “Billboard 200” for the first time.
According To Billboard, (G)I-DLE‘s fifth mini-album “I Love” debuted at 71st place on “Billboard 200” this week. This is the first time for (G)I-DLE to enter the “Billboard 200.”
Their title track “Nxde” of “I Love” is also doing well. It ranked 13th on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart and 198th on the Billboard Global (excluding the United States).
Currently, “Nxde” dominate the domestic music charts as of 9 a.m. on November 1, ranking first and second on the nation’s largest music platform Melon Top 100. It also achieved a PAK recently making history in the process.
The K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK who has the highest ranking in “Billboard 200,” topped the list with their second full-length album “Born Pink.”. aespa is currently the highest-ranked group in the “Billboard 200” among the fourth-generation girl groups. They ranked third with their second mini album “Girls.” The group ITZY is following with their fifth mini-album “CHECKMATE,” ranking eighth. In the second half of the year, a huge number of popular fourth-generation K-pop girl groups such as IVE and NewJeans are scheduled to release new albums, so the “Billboard 200” is expected to be dominated by K-pop girl groups for a while.
