On April 10, it was revealed that Wonho has signed an exclusive contract with Highline Entertainment, a subsidiary of Starship Entertainment as a solo artist and producer.

The agency stated to news outlets that it had recently signed a contract with the idol who has shown his talent in writing, composing and producing. He is set to start anew as a soloist.

Wonho stated through Highline Entertainment,

“I deeply regret the foolish and rash behavior of the past.

I really appreciate the fans for giving me this opportunity, and I will do my best to repay your support.”

The agency also released a short statement promising to support Wonho’s future promotions as a soloist.

The announcement shocked fans all around the world who had been hoping to see Wonho back with MONSTA X after he was cleared of all the charges against him.

Highline Entertainment is a subsidiary of Starship Entertainment and houses artists including DJ Soda, dress, and PLUMA.
